Bringing the Roof Down!

Last Saturday, Puffyrazzi being an avid dance fan, attended Dancing King Show Luo's first solo concert in Singapore. Buying his ticket alone was hard enough. The sistic computer system crashed on the day tickets were released, causing a massive traffic at Sistic counters and Sistic websites... =(
.
About 30 min before the show was scheduled to start, i was already seated at my seat, testing out my latest acquired multicoloured light stick...haha... Many fans like me were sitting down to rest their feet before the real dancing began!
.
Show's about to start....cue fans screaming...
.
During all of Xiao Zhu's concert, he will perform a lucky draw where a fan will be chosen to be his 3-minute girlfriend. For the first time ever, this 'girlfriend' turned out to be a male. They held hands, and shared a pink loveseat (video to come later). The stadium roared with laughter along with those two on stage =)
.
It was freaking super dancing from start to finish, peppered with some fine ballads here and there. The stage was awesome... better than Jolin's... LOL. The fans had hardly a minute to sit , yawn nor stop screaming (err...except when Rainie Yang appeared to belt out 2 songs... haha)
.

This gigantic inflatable Show Luo that appeared during the encore was just too adorable and he was swaying with the beat too! Look! Xiao Zhu's putting on his gloves for the final dance... After i left the stadium, i suffered from temporary deafness due to all those loud music and screaming...that's what i call noise-induced deafness. Anyhowz, it was a really great show! Really worth the money...

Malaysian Chinese Food

Today, i'm going to share some photos of some of those nice Chinese food i love from home. I'm pretty lucky because this time i went back, i had my boyfriend, my sis and my bro-in-law to help me eat my heart out.... haha...

For breakfast, a bowl of steaming hot curry mee with loads of stuff in it. The mini size bowl is mine and the bigger bowl is my sis'. Look at the overcrowding in my bowl...hehe...

Breakfast must come with an aromatic cup of coffee. Hot or cold, up to individual preference. For once, i don't have to drink coffee that comes from a sachet =P

Ooooh, what's this? There are two types of Bak Kut Teh. One type is the clear soup type, with just pieces of pork rib in it. That's soooo NOT my type of Bak Kut Teh. Now, this photo is my ideal bowl of Bak Kut Teh...with pork ribs, pig intestines, mushrooms, you tiao, vege and tao pok....Of course, the soup should be black, not clear... ahhhh...

BIG PAU Malaysia style!!!! Actually my sister requested for this, cos in KL, most of the eateries sell mass-produced Big Pau. Same here for me... so you can imagine our delight at seeing home-made big pau that we can get from most coffee shops at home.

The pau was so big i couldn't finish one on my own. I think the pau was as big as both my palms put together! Look at the nice colour of the meat and egg, very fresh... love it~

One of my mother's signature dish is salty tang yuan. You can see me busy making tang yuan for my mother's soup here... hehe

And this is the final product! Most people eat tang yuan the sweet way, but in Wee Family, we eat it the salty way....goodz!

A Simple Introduction

Hello everybody! My name is Simple, i guess i'm a Maltese. My owners are visiting UK so now i'm boarding over at Auntie Wee's house. I come here to stay often and they love me like one of their own!
.
Auntie Wee likes to play with me. Sometimes i play tug-of-war using my hanky or play catch with a tennis ball. I enjoy making them chase after me!
.

I enjoy being the King of the house! Look at me standing so high up...looking down on peasants ( the camera-girl)...staring into the horizon that is my kingdom.... =P
.

During our free time, i sit on Uncle Wee's lap to watch TV on the lazy chair. U see that blur in the pic? That's QQ, the irritable dog that likes to pester me. He's such a baby, he's just jealous i'm getting so much attention!
.

Hey, look at me! I'm posing for a photo, and i do look professional huh? Can come out with my own pictorial, with the amount of photos both the Wee sisters are taking of me.

Kuantan Keropok Lekor

Hey all, i just returned from Kuantan and i had so much good food. Don't worry, i remembered to take many many photos to share with everyone, some courtesy of Crispy...haha... One of my favourite tea time snacks is called Keropok Lekor. It is a very famous snack in the East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia, i guess the fish caught from the South China Sea make better keropoks.

My mother loves the keropok from this stall as the keropoks have less odour than some other stalls. Anyway, this place is quite hard to locate if you're not from Kuantan.

The workers making keropok from fish paste and frying the keropok. She welcomed Crispy with open arms when she saw her snapping away like a paparazzi.

Believe it or not, this stall has a customer numbering system, sort of like those you see at the bank where customers are served according to queue number. Business is brisk huh...

Voila...yummy keropok...hot and fluffy fresh from the wok... =P

Hari Raya Goodies

Hari Raya had just passed not too long ago. My family also joined in the fun of dining during the festive season. After all, Kuantan is pretty famous for its Malay food, much more than its Chinese food. Awww... i can't wait to go home to sample them.

Oooh...Cucur udang! I don't really like it 'cos i don't like prawns. It can be nice, but if the chilli is no good, then it's no good. So, the chilli is a very vital point...haha...

Karipap!!! Or in a more civilised English language : Currypuff. I still prefer the Malay name though. I prefer those Malay-made currypuffs than the Chinese-made ones. It's got more oooomph!

My mother likes to buy this chicken wing from Taman Gelora. The last time i was home, she also bought several for dinner. It is sold by a Malay lady at the Sunday pasar malam near my house =D

This photo doesn't really belong here, but since it was savoured along with the Raya dish, i'll include it anyways. It's my mom's Radish Soup. Waaa...my mom puts alot of goodness into her soup. I love them!

Beef and Chicken Rendang respectively. Looks pretty spicy, but i bet they really boost your appetite.

BBQ Stuffed Sotong. Waaa...it looks absolutely divine! 2 photos for you guys, top view and side view. Wow, can you imagine sinking your teeth into this elastic and juicy treat? *Drooling*

Food....and More Food...

Are you ready for more food blogging? Well, enjoy! I've been busy lately, so not much time was spent on blogging. Thousand apologies ~

Hohoho, Crayfish! Or my sister's nickname for it was 'The Handphone'. It DOES look and feel a little like a clamshell phone huh? Meet the latest model from Samsung Crayfish.

Portuguese Eggtart from Macau. Slurp...i wonder if it tastes way way better than those we find here? I bet they are more fluffy and creamy...hmmm. Hey look, the cameraman's vision has turned all yellow from the hunger... haha

Suddenly found this photo stashed somewhere in my folder. I think this was from May Yee's farewell one year ago. I'm not a sushi lover, but i love the effect of this photo...what a nice array of colours and textures!

Ahh...at the same time i also found this photo! Stuffed crab from Kemaman in Trengganu. It is pretty famous in Malaysia, and i always bring my tourists friends there, but it is about an hour's drive from my hometown. The crab costs RM10 each...

Kenny's birthday cake. Truffle chocolate cake...very very creamy and filling. My friend Lai Kwan loves it! Heee Haaa...
