Lavender

One of the eateries that i always patronise when i'm in Johor Bahru is Lavender. This place was first introduced to me by a Singaporean colleague who is practically a Malaysian PR ( judging by the frequency he goes over to top up petrol!). Later several friends also brought me there at a few occasions, so i've sort of fell in love with this place which has such varied choices in their menu.

This time i was over to have breakfast. That's my cocktail coffee...heehee...it comes in a martini glass, so that i can imagine i was James Bond having coffee.

I don't like those thin, crunchy kaya toasts which comes in pandan kaya they serve in kopi tiams in Singapore. I still prefer the thick and soft toasts with brown kaya!

Woooooo~ Heaven...... The kaya was fragrant and the toasts tasted like marshmallows...mmmm.....

Let's try something western...what about the Florentine Egg Set?

Akakaka....this was what it looked like.....this place is halal, so no pork and bacon for us... Instead it was turkey bacon....I had a great breakfast.

This soya sauce bottle looked so 'Chinese' it seemed so incongruous there. Anyway, i love Lavender's waffles. If you ever go there for tea, go for the waffles. Fattening but sure worth getting fat for =P
