Kukup Indulgence Part One

During our trip to Kukup, the charge by the hotel included two lunches which were provided by a seafood restaurant nearby. Some of the dishes in the two lunches were similar, so i am assimilating these two lunches into one blog post :

Both meals came with Japanese tofu. I'm a big fan of tofu, so this kept me really happy =)

Look at that ! Bamboo clams.... even though this was good, i still love the bamboo clams i had at Turf City last year...those were huge and chewy. These were a little smaller, but still good overall.

Lemon chicken.... it was a hit with the children who tagged along with us. I guess fried food never goes wrong for children.

A plate of stir-fried cabbage to neutralise all those fatty meat and seafood we were consuming.

Ooooh.... sweet and sour fish, with a generous heap of tomato ketchup....alrightyyyy....

Cuttlefish with vegetables...given all the good dishes that we had in Kukup, this one was a blemish among them. I didn't quite like it...

Fried green vegetables for our 2nd lunch...also with the same function of neutralising those fats we stuffed into our belly the night before ( the seafood BBQ provided by the hotel)

What is a seafood meal without prawns?

Likewise, what is a seafood meal without crabs??

Here's some stir-fried pork. Pretty tasty and comforting....

A specialty of the restaurant which they served 2 lunches in a row : fried stuffed
dough sticks. Also another favourite among the children. It also came with a right amount of mayonnaise.

Assam fish!!! The seafood dishes were all excellent. Must be contributed by the fact that they were caught fresh just from the kelong next to the town...
