Royal Copenhagen

One of the recommended places to have tea (according to Hungrygowhere.com), is this small cosy place, Royal Copenhagen. After a tiring day, it's nice to retire and have a good cup of tea/coffee with dessert here, with a nice window seat overlooking Orchard Road.

We actually went quite late, about 5-6 pm when the crowd has already started to thin. If you head there at the peak times like 3 pm, you would most likely need to wait in queue.

A nice pot of tea for my friend who is a tea-lover. The pots are nice, but not half as sweet as those from Rose Veranda :(

The rest of us opted for a cup of Royal Copenhagen Coffee. It has a lively flavour and aroma, but could've been better. Truthfully, even TCC's premium brewed coffee beat this hands down. Perhaps i am just not into Danish Coffee?? haha...

The Chocolate Lava Cake : The decadent of sins, chocolate lovers must try! Lovely warm sensational of pure blissfulness accompany by the sweet scent of vanilla ice cream. On top of that, the crisp baked almond crumbs, elaborate with mixed summer berries and lastly, the whirls of raspberry sauce that bound to set you go Ooh-La-La...
