Arteastiq

The girls and I had read many reviews of this beautiful tea place Arteastiq but it is not a cheap place to go. Chance had it that there were coupons on sale for its tea-set on the web and we grabbed 5 coupons immediately without thinking. We had a bit of problem getting a reservation because many people snapped up the coupons.

This place is famed for its tea, which the kitchen staff carefully brew in special pots on the stove, but i still chose my favourite beverage of coffee : an Irish Cream Coffee, which they serve with a crunchy belgian waffle biscuit.

Their French Rose Tea came in a feminine tea cup with a lovely touch of a small pink rose floating on the tea. It was a feast for the eye and our camera shutters :)

Our Food Set are roughly the same, it came served with a main sandwich, a side salad and a Tomato Soup. This particular one is the Season of Love Crispy Aromatic Focassia Caprese.

This is my order of Tuscan Crispy Brioche Panini Chicken - smoked chicken and Philadelphia Cream Cheese puree with a hint of nutmeg, dried cranberry and alfalfa sprouts.

I believe this is Tze Ching's Mint Lemongrass Tea, also brewed carefully in a pot before serving in the teapot. This tea is good for a relaxing weekend and the aroma clearly soothes all nerves.

Andrea had Yurou tagging along, so she picked something with a sweet taste to share with her - Lychee Tea. It came with large, juicy lychees which Yurou kept pointing at cos it was sweet and she enjoyed the taste of it.

The coupon also entitled us to an additional tart or scoop of gelato after the Set Meal. Two of the girls tried the Tiramisu Tart. I tried a little, but the taste was too rich and if you eat too many of these, you will get a bloated feeling, but overall, it's pretty yummy especially if you love Tiramisu.

The rest of us had Gelatos. We had to order the non-alcoholic ones, because most of the alcoholic ones are sold out and also because Yurou was with us. Their Gelatos were simply divine, but they melted so fast we had to speed things up and not being able to enjoy it as slowly as we would've liked. Well, a nice place to spend the afternoon with the girls, with its beautiful decorations, but we wish the waitress(es) were a little bit more helpful.
